Originally built on the Duke of Norfolks Estate in 1844 this is a modern conversion of the flint built "Dairy" at Chuch Farm, Patching between Arundel and Worthing. Last year this building was transformed from the stabling it had been since 1990 when the dairy herd left the farm into two, two bedroom single storey houses. The Old Dairy comprises a double bedroom with ensuite shower and WC, a twin bedroom, seperate bathroom and a lovely open plan kitchen, dining and living area. It has all modern conveniences including underfloor central heating and WIFI.
Next door is Walnut Tree cottage which is a mirror image of The Old Dairy. The website for this cottage can be found at www.walnuttreecottagesussex.co.uk so the two cottages would make a perfect place for 2 families.
Patching Village is a picturesque village just 5 miles from Arundel or Worthing within the new National Park with direct access onto the South Downs and their huge network of footpaths and bridleways. The cottage is situated adjacent to the Church and it's Southwest outlook means it gets plenty of sun with uninterupted views out across the farm.
Alternatively the sea is only 3 miles away with various beaches to suit all tastes. Brighton is 30 minutes East and Portsmouth 45 minutes West so it is a great location from which to explore the South Coast.
There is a pub within 1/2 mile which does food for all the family and shops are only a short drive in the car.
