build and amend your site from any web connected PC

help. Not only is there a Help button to use when

new customers may be unsure about what to type into the boxes

Instant Help boxes that appear as you mouse

small. If the easisites system detects
that the image carries more detail it automatically provides

- so long as you enter the post code of your address

To
extend the scope of your easisites website,
there is the facility - available by clicking the Extras
button on the gold bar at the top of the page when
you have published and paid for your site
- for you to upload as many as six extra files - effectively
six extra pages. These will appear as click-links
for your visitors

You
can use this facility to provide order forms for
customers to print out, a price list ... or anything
else you can supply a file for - even a brochure
-
You
can provide the files in any format - such as Acrobat
PDF files, Microsoft
Word documents and
any other file type that can be read on the web
- You
can also use the extras facility to upload
additional pictures to display on your easisites website

You will find an Options button on the gold
bar at the top of the page when you are building or updating
your site. You can use this facility to alter the behaviour
of different easisites features:

turn the Instant Help on or off
- increase the number of site pages from the standard six
- up to 24 pages

choose your own domain name (see below)

controlled
- When
you first build and publish your easisites
website - whether you choose to make payment then or at a
later date - you are allocated a password
- Use
this to make changes to your site
- Just
visit your site online, like anyone else would to view it,
then click the special "update this page" link for entry to
the password controlled facility that lets you make changes
search
engineering
- Your
easisites website is added to prominent search
engines to maximise web exposure
- Although
we do this for you when you first build, publish and pay for
your site, we recommend that do this for yourself on a fairly
regular basis (say, every three months). Details of how to
do this - with easy click-throughs - are given when you make
changes to your site
local
directory
- We
will list all newly created sites in a local easisites
directory
promotion
assistance

Immediately after putting your site online you see a page
that allows you to type in the email addresses of people you
know. Those people are automatically emailed with an invitation
to view your new easisites website
fraud
proof
- For
extra security, once you have paid for your easisites
website
your credit card details are deleted from our files
- There
is nothing to attract hackers.
- By
not storing card details we can’t automatically bill when
the next year is due. We’ll send you a reminder when it’s
time
domain names
- All
web sites built using easisites are automatically assigned
web addresses or domain names - eg. www.easisites.co.uk/yourcompany
- However,
if you would like your own web address (or domain name) -
e.g. www.yourcompany.co.uk or www.yourcompany.com
- this can be done (subject to availability)
- To
select a domain name, click on the options
button on the gold bar at the top of the page when you are
building or updating your site
- Our
charge for a domain name is an additional £25+VAT
per year
- If
you already have a domain name that you want assigned to your
easisites website, this can also be done.
Simply publish your site and contact the easisites
administator (admin@easisites.co.uk) who'll explain
what needs to be done
